*NOW IN HIS NEW HOME*
Monkey came into rescue after spending a whole year in welfare boarding kennels! So poor Monkey hadn’t known home comforts for so long, we hoped he hadn’t forgotten! We didn’t know if he is was a monkey in nature, maybe he was when he was a kitten? He was very quiet and withdrawn, but was starting to come out for a fuss, while he was with us. He had gingivitis, some teeth missing, tartar on his teeth and a grade 2 heart murmur. He was 7 years old, so not old, but because of his conditions we were looking for a quiet home with no other pets, a large flat so he can have the space that he so deserves and no children. We thought that he was going to make a wonderful companion cat, but would probably require a dental in the future, so we asked that the new owner factor this in before applying for him.
