Kitten registry

Our kitten registry is open all year round, however we never know when we will have kittens ready for rehoming. The number of kittens in rescue has increased due to so many un-speyed females having to suffer multiple litters. For our kittens, we ask for a home away from any main roads where they will be able to explore safely. We like to rehome our kittens in pairs. Our kittens are flea and worm treated, microchipped and vaccinated but will require spay/neuter at the appropriate time, so this cost must be factored in when considering taking on a pair of kittens. Please complete our online enquiry form or email us contact@secondchanceanimalrescue.co.uk to register.
We only hold details for a month as we assume you will be actively looking, so please resubmit your form if you are still looking but haven’t heard from us.

Older cats!

We have a couple of older cats looking for a home, possibly foster home, where they can enjoy their remaining days. We can’t say how long they will be with you but we can guarantee that you will fall in love with them!
Atlas will be 14 in November. She has had some health issues, mainly urinary tract problems, but blood tests are still coming back clear on her kidneys. She is an old tabby and white lady just looking for a pillow to lay her head on.

Romeo is at least 15! His previous owners passed away and he found himself all alone. We say at least 15, because this is the minimum age as we only have the implant date of his microchip and no date of birth, so he could be older. He is an amazing gent, but does drink lots. Again blood tests are inconclusive. Do you have a spare corner of the sofa that he can rest his weary head on?

If you think you can offer either of these oldies a home, please get in touch. They really need to be in the Southampton area, with easy access to the vets that we use.
Please complete our online enquiry form.

Ocean

Ocean is approx 8 months old. She was a stray who found her way into rescue. She has now been spayed, microchipped and vaccinated whilst at the rescue and is ready for her new home. She would like a garden to explore, not near any main roads and a comfy bed to sleep on. She will need a secure room (no open windows)to settle in for the first 4 weeks.
If you think you can offer Ocean a new home, please complete our online enquiry form.

Jasmine

Jasmine came into rescue in February of this year, weighing just 1.79kg! The picture below is her when she first arrived, scared, starved and unsure of humans. She had been kept in 1 room with 10 other cats, only 1 bowl of food, 1 bowl of water and 1 litter tray between them. She is slowly gaining confidence in us humans, but is a typical tortie, so will bite when she has had enough attention. She needs a quiet home, maybe a spare room, where she can continue her journey to recovery. She is approx 4 years of age.

If you are interested in offering Jasmine a home please complete our enquiry form.
