Lola is a beautiful 11 month old working cocker spaniel x.
She is extremely affectionate and of course has endless amounts of energy. Lola does need someone who can continue her training and give her lots of exercise and stimulation.
She has just finished her 1st season so is awaiting her spay.
She needs someone willing to train and build her confidence.

Milo is a 4 year old pug with an abundance of energy and lots of love to give. Milo is a playful bouncy boy who loves other dogs and people. Whilst with us he has been neutered, vaccinated and has had BOAS surgery to correct his breathing.
Milo needs an active home, with an active lifestyle to give him what he needs.

Lunar is a 4 year old Lurcher. She is now spayed and fully vaccinated. She can be reactive to some new dogs and nervous. But once used to you she is the most loving, soppy girl, often rolling over on to her back for tummy tickles. Noel was a stray. With no owner coming forward, he has now found himself in rescue. At approx 2 years old, Noel is a Jack Russell cross. He has been neutered and vaccinated whilst with us. He can be nervous, very active. He needs an experienced owner that can offer regular exercise. Ideally no young children.

Suki is a 2 year old, chihuahua x Jack Russel. Having had a very sheltered upbringing, unsocialised and frightened of other dogs, she tends to bark first and ask questions later. She is slowly learning that other dogs are not her enemy! She is a lovely girl, now spayed and vaccinated. She is looking for a quiet understanding home, with an experienced dog owner, where she can continue to be socialised and trained.

Shadow and Peanut are looking for a home together.
Shadow is an 12 year old Cockapoo. Shy at first and from a home where the owners were struggling to care for him. In rescue Shadow is slowly beginning to settle and learning to enjoy life again. He and Peanut love to sleep together.
Peanut is a 6 year old JR x Chihuahua. Very scared when she first arrived, but is slowly gaining more confidence.

Dopey

Their story: In November we received a call from one of the counties dog wardens about 7 dogs who had been dumped in a lay-by in 2 dog crates. They were described as all being small and frightened. When they arrived at the rescue they were carried in as they had never worn collars or even seen a lead. Neglected and with no idea who we were, nails too long, coats smelling of urine. Where had these poor dogs been kept? Inter bred, used, these poor dogs were heart breaking. 4 months on and they were still scared. We have bathed, groomed and wormed (yes there tummies were full of worms!). They have been neutered so their bodies can no longer be abused. They will need toilet training. But they are still going to need a lot of time and weren’t be ready to be re-homed for months rather than weeks. With 7 dogs arriving in one day, we had no choice but to name them after the 7 dwarfs, Welcome Doc, Grumpy, Sleepy, Happy, Bashful, Sneezy and Dopey. *Sneezy, Sleepy, Doc and Grumpy are now successfully in a new home. Sadly we lost Happy. *

Saint is a very special collie! He turns 3 in March and has been with us over a year. Why so long? Sadly Saint came into rescue with a lot of issues. Having spent his first year, unsocialised, stuck in a flat, not being walked! Now the big wide world is a scary space at times. He can zone out and become distracted and reactive. We have done a lot of work with him, slow introduction to new experiences. He is very strong and pulling on lead is still an issue. We have been taking Saint swimming and he is learning to love swimming and play in the pool.

We are now looking for that special home where Saint can continue to learn and enjoy life. We really think he needs a large garden, where the need to walk will not be a necessity. Another dog would be great as Saint loves to play. Do you have the time and love to give Saint. If so we would love to hear from you.
